The Tiniest thing can have an Impact

You may feel inferior, yes. Some days you can feel less than or mediocre, okay. We all feel many different ways on different days. It happens. But, I want to say that no matter how you feel- You may be small; you may feel small. No matter how big or small you are, for whatever reason, you may think that you don’t count but believe me when I say, your impact can be gigantic.

For weeks, I went out to exercise. I love walking, hiking and being in the outdoors. I kept on feeling a sharp painful jolt in my left shoe. It pierced my heel and occasionally disturbed my momentum. I swear, it felt like a blade. It irritated me so much. At times I would stop on the street and remove the shoe to see what was in there. It felt like a stone, a bolder, a knife. I never found anything and kept going. Occasionally, depending on how I step or run, I would feel it again and again. Like it was ready to rip out my organs. So one day, I was fed-up because this was one of my favorite trainers. I decided to dig in a certain location and as I did, the tiniest silver pin-like speck came up from the cushion inside the shoe. You could not even imagine the look on my face. I was so stunned. The size of this thing surprised me. It was so painful and disturbing that it even made my foot bleed.

Then a message hit me! A meaningful thought just smacked me in the face. Look at what was creating such a stir in my exercise routine. The smallest of pins was ready to stop my heart and change my life. So don’t you ever think for one second that you are nothing. That you don’t count or matter. We all have greatness regardless of our size, height, or age. Every mind is brilliant and powerful. We all can make a valuable contribution along this journey called life. A person, no matter their rank or intellect knows something you don’t know and vice versa. A child can be as moving and effective as an adult. You can create turbulence, a movement, all by yourself. We all have a voice and we all have a story. Discount no one. The tiniest thing can have an impact. I always get a positive message from my everyday experiences and interactions and I hope this inspires someone. Have a great week!

Thank you...๐Ÿ‘„๐Ÿ‘„

Just two small words to express so much gratitude. Being thankful is one of the most powerful things, and most of us sometimes forget to count our blessings. The words you hear shape you, so you must speak life. Let these two words be part of your vocabulary and watch what happens. When you believe that words are keys, you definitely use them wisely and strategically. Being thankful helps you bond, and it can lead to better relationships.

Gratitude is a game-changer.  Look back at all that has happened in your life, both good and bad, and decide to be thankful. Not only for the good but also for the not so good moments too. Contrast has its place in all of our lives, and if viewed properly, it can provide clarity and solutions to a lot of circumstances. Pain is a teacher with many lessons so be thankful for evolution and growth.

As we approach a New Year, I have something really important to share with you. Shift your reality by being thankful. Be the person that's filled with appreciation, positivity and love. I'm not asking you to be fake. Just don't pee in the pool because you are actually peeing in your own pool. What you give off will gravitate right back to you. You want to ooze out gratitude and be thankful in all things. You are still here so why be sour and ungrateful. It takes more energy to do that. Keep noticing the wonderful events and situations that unfold in your life every day no matter how small and see amazing individuals demonstrate acts that you can always be thankful for. Appreciate all your fun times, quality friends, acts of favor, family, food on the table, eminent health, and laughter.

As a fresh year starts, make a commitment to write down at least three things you're grateful for each day for 30 days. Try to make each one as specific as possible and watch your life transform magically. 2020 may have not been your favorite year but pick the good out of its basket and develop gracefully from all of the bad. Choose to move forward and always be Thankful!

๐Ÿ˜” The Way It Hurts

Don Miguel Ruiz wrote in one of my favorite books- The Mastery Of Love:

"The emotional body has a component like an alarm system to let us know when something is wrong. It is the same with the physical body; it has an alarm system to let us know something is wrong with our body. We call this pain. When we feel pain it is because there is something wrong with the body that we have to look at and fix."

This is why discomfort should not be ignored. When you toss it aside and pay no attention, it is still there. It lies inside you brewing and developing into something worse. With pain, some of us lose our freedom, we lose our happiness and we lose our tendency to love.

The truth is, hurt needs to be addressed. We are all diverse and affliction can either make us better or worse. We all react differently to what happens to us. For some, a painful wound can grow deep, get infected and lead to further complications. Other persons learn and grow through the hurt and heal nicely as time goes by.

All wounds can heal; that's the great news. It just depends on you. What happens to you doesn't define you and you can definitely rise from the ashes. Take small steps and don't be hard on yourself. Believe in your potential every single step of the way. It truly gets better, so refuse to fear. Trust that you will be made stronger because of the mishap and that all is working out for you. Time is the best healer and it softens the blow.

One key is to always observe how you feel. Some days you do feel it coming. Catch it early so you are ahead of yourself and negative emotions won't escalate. Learn to ask yourself: How am I feeling today? When you look inside and ask,  your inner being will let you know your emotional state and you will take it from there.

Remember that true healing comes from within, so be brave enough to heal yourself even when it hurts.

⚠ Do Not edit your conversation with him ⚠

Men love wholesome conversation. When he is interested in you and feels a magnetic aura, he would definitely want to know more. One of the key ways to learn more is to hang around you to observe and communicate.

It is vital to open up and be yourself if you are truly focused on him and what he offers. Would it be fair to conceal who you are and what you want? To communicate is to share or exchange information, news or ideas.

So present your views well and make no apologies for it. Effective conversations can save you a lot of time and heartache. When done tastefully, you can tell him in many ways your vision, desires, ideas, concerns and intentions. Once your truth is out there in its clearest form, it can either improve the relationship or cancel out anyone who may not be aligned with what you prefer. Yes, it is okay to be vulnerable. Vulnerability is not winning or losing. It's having the courage to show yourself and be seen when you have no control over the outcome.

It is very important to keep communicating in the best possible manner in order to receive ultimate results.

๐Ÿ’ The Wacky little word called Love ๐Ÿ’

You don’t need anyone to love you! Yes, I said it. Love lives inside of us, and it is always there. Some days at a higher vibration than others but, love comes from within. The difficulty sometimes is; we have to choose love! This intense feeling of deep affection towards something or someone is a choice. The situation may not be favorable and the individual may not be loveable but when all is said and done, it’s truly better to grab hold of love.

Our natural instinct is to love. Think of a time when someone you adored greatly, disappointed and hurt you. You probably cried, had sleepless nights in pain, and possibly told yourself- Never Again! You laid out all the rules for the new way forward, but not long after that, you were at it again even stronger than before. Or you were highly passionate about an idea, activity, or your talent; you were enthusiastic about your craft. But you experienced setbacks and struggled some days. Did you give up? Did you toss the sponge in the trash and say- I'm done, that's it! No! You pushed through and kept going in faith. At times, you shook your head at yourself but you continued, determined to still give your best.

What was the driving force behind that? It was love because you were zealous. The foundation is love. Love is powerful and you do feel it inside. It may be calm but there is a fire that burns. It is indestructible. It makes you find a way. It makes you hopeful and it heals.

Choose to love in spite of your battles and afflictions. It is not easy to do but select it over fear, hurt, and bitterness. Not for anyone else but for You. Why, because it softens your journey; it lightens the load and makes life worth living.

Feel the love as you navigate through Can’t Get Enough Ep1.

Take a look Inside
